Community News:

The Cloverly Development:  We recently distributed infomation to SCA members and SCA listserv subscribers about a large church & school development being planned for the Cloverly Area, abutting New Hampshire Avenue and north of Bryants Nursery Road.  Some or perhaps all of the support requested by the Cloverly folks who have issues with the development requires responses very quickly.  If you want to get involved, the most immediate avenue is to see the Cloverly contact information provided in the original listserv posting.  Additionally, any SCA member has the opportunity to make a motion on this or any other matter of community interest at our member meetings.

SCA Membership: It's not too late to become a 2016 member of the Stonegate Citizens Association!  Membership dues are the primary source of funds for covering the various association expenses.  Dues are just $20 per household.  You can pay on-line using either the "Join On-line" or the "Become a Member" tab in the right margin.  Or you can download a membership application from our document library (either separately, or from the most recent SCAN). If you are not sure about your membership status, just call or email the Membership Chairperson to find out.

Upcoming Events & Important Dates:

Wednesday, December 7th, 2016, 7:30 - 9:00 PM is the SCA's winter meeting.  NEW LOCATION!!  We will be meeting at the Transfiguration Parish located at 13925 New Hampshire Avenue.  See the "SCA Meetings" tab (menu at the top of the page) for more details.

Community Activities:

There are many community activities, that are informally organized by community members (not as SCA functions, per se) that reflect the neighborliness of our community.  There are at least two book clubs and possibly one bridge club.  There are Easter egg hunts, block parties, star parties, an annual charity run, Little Free Libraries, an emerging "Village" organization...

If you have an interest that you would like to share (books, chess, walking, gardening, etc.), consider initiating a new group!  You can post the information on the Stonegate Listserv and use "Contact Us" to get it onto the website.

For more information, select the "Events and Activities" tab from the side menu and then click on "All Events".

Anything Else?
